Description: Up for sale is a great, COLORED, ANTIQUE folding map, titled "EUROPE ROAD MAP - ST. BRIEUC - RENNES". Copied from a French (Michelin) map dated 1939. Photolithographed at War Office 1941. (British/US Map) It is blank on the reverse side. It is a very detailed map, measuring approximately 45 x 27 inches, including the border area. Several folds within the map. Maps this early and showing this much detail are a great piece of history! Map is generally in Good condition. There is some light age related browning and toning to the map. The map has some nicks and chips around the edges. There are also some heavier browning at the folds. Some other dings here and there. There are creases in the corners. Some brown "water" stains along the edges, as well. This old, historic map would be a great addition to any collection!
