This was the night of the infamous Luna Vachon and Sensational Sherri catfight! A historic early Monday Night Raw! WWF @ Poughkeepsie, NY – Mid-Hudson Civic Center – April 12, 1993 Monday Night Raw taping:The Undertaker defeated Giant Gonzalez via disqualificationBret Hart defeated Razor Ramon4/12/93 – featured an opening segment where WWF Tag Team Champions Ted Dibiase & IRS paid off the Beverly Brothers to give them advice about how to face and beat Rick & Scott Steiner; included Vince McMahon, Randy Savage, & Rob Bartlett on commentary; the scheduled match between WWF Tag Team Champions Ted Dibiase & IRS and the Bushwhackers did not take place; featured an ad promoting the WrestleMania IX replay later that night on pay-per-view; included a WrestleMania IX Report hosted by Sean Mooney in which he recapped the happenings of the WWF World Title match, the two Doinks, the Undertaker vs. Giant Gonzalez, and hyped the pay-per-view replay immediately after Raw; featured an ICO PRO ad featuring the Steiners; included Bartlett conducting a ringside interview with Luna Vachon, who said she was the woman of the 90s and the only thing strong about Sensational Sherri was her breath; Bartlett then noted Sherri was in the building, with Sherri then walking ringside and saying Bartlett was disgracing the WWF by simply interviewing Luna; the two continued to have words before Sherri attacked Luna, tore Bartlett’s vest, and dropped Luna with a suplex on the floor; Sherri began choking Luna with a cord before Luna hit her with a monitor and tore open sherri’s shirt; the two then fought into the crowd before Sgt. Slaughter hoisted Luna over his shoulder and carried her backstage; following the commercial break, Savage attempted to conduct a ringside interview with Sherri, who held his cowboy hat to cover her chest, before Luna returned; the two then briefly fought again before Sherri said she would face Luna any time; featured footage following WrestleMania of Todd Pettengill conducting interviews with fans from Germany and Australia, Vladimir the super fan, and others who said the show was the best WrestleMania to date; included a WWF Hasbro ad; featured the announcement Bret Hart would be on hand the next week for an interview and Razor Ramon vs. Virgil; the commentary team then spoke with Money Inc., who were backstage, about facing the Beverly Brothers the next week; moments later, the Beverlys jumped them from behind, with the teams brawling as the show ended:Scott Steiner (w/ Rick Steiner) defeated WWF Tag Team Champion IRS (w/ Ted Dibiase) via disqualification at 12:05 when Dibiase interfered and broke the cover after Steiner hit a double underhook into a powerbomb; prior to the bout, IRS took the mic and reminded the fans they had until Thursday to send in their tax forms, and that they better not cheat on them; after the bout, the Steiners fought off Money Inc and set up Dibiase for the bulldog off the top double team only for the Beverly Brothers to come out and gang up on the Steiners; after the bout, the Beverlys accidentally hit a double clothesline on Dibiase when Scott moved out of the way; moments later, Money Inc and the Beverlys got into a shoving contest before the Beverlys knocked IRS to the floor and cornered Dibiase; Money Inc. then left ringside as the Beverlys challenged them to get in the ring.Tatanka pinned Von Krus with the Samoan Drop at 4:00; during the bout, Doink the Clown briefly appeared in the aislePapa Shango pinned Scott Taylor at 2:24 with the reverse shoulderbreaker; during the match, Rob Bartlett, his clothes torn, returned ringsideFrier Ferguson pinned Chris Duffy at 4:22 by blocking a sunset flip with a sit-down splash; during the bout, it was announced the Beverly Brothers would face WWF Tag Team Champions Ted Dibiase & IRS the next week in a non-title match (Ferguson’s only televised match) 4/19/93 – featured opening backstage promos by WWF Tag Team Champions Ted Dibiase & IRS, and the Beverly Brothers on their match later in the show; included a backstage promo by Luna Vachon, with a dungeon in the background, in which she cut a promo on Sensational Sherri, as still images were shown from WrestleMania, exclusive footage of her attacking Sherri backstage at WrestleMania, and footage of their fight the previous week aired; Luna then said she would wipe Sherri from the earth; featured an ICO PRO ad featuring Rick & Scott Steiner; included a WWF Mania ad; featured Vince McMahon conducting an in-ring interview with Bret Hart about his loss of the WWF World Title at WrestleMania, with Hart saying critics had long said he wouldn’t attain what he had attained and he would be back to the top in the WWF; Hart then said he made a “hit list” and Lex Luger was at the top of it for knocking him out at the WrestleMania brunch and agreed that WWF President Jack Tunney should investigate Luger’s forearm; Hart then issued a challenge to Luger, Yokozuna, and WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan; included an ad promoting WWF Hasbro toys; featured the announcement Crush would face Luger the following week (Rob Bartlett’s last appearance):Razor Ramon pinned Virgil with the Razor’s Edge at 6:59 after Virgil missed a reverse crossbody from the middle turnbuckle; during the bout, there were loud chants of “Razor”Giant Gonzalez (w/ Harvey Wippleman) pinned LA Gore with the chokeslam at 1:20; during the bout, Wippleman yelled that Gonzalez could beat anyone, from Hulk Hogan to Bret HartTatanka pinned Art Thomas at 2:29 with the Samoan DropWWF Tag Team Champions Ted Dibiase & IRS defeated the Beverly Brothers in a non-title match at 12:59 when Dibiase pinned Beau after Beau accidentally hit Blake when Dibiase moved out of the way; prior to the bout, IRS took the mic and said the fans that didn’t file their taxes wouldn’t get an extension. Bam Bam Bigelow pinned Phil Apollo with the diving headbutt at 4:43; during the match, Doink the Clown briefly appeared in the aisle; after the bout, Bigelow hit the move a second time; moments later, Friar Ferguson came out and tended to Apollo before knocking Bigelow to the floor with a dropkick; following the commercial break, Friar blessed the crowd Being sold as is.
