Description: Wren & Other Wild Bird Houses, Predator Guard, Cedar Construction, Hand Made It measures.... 11 inches tall5.5 inches wide6.75 inches from front to back It has a 1.25 inch hole which is the Audubon recommendation for Wren, Titmouse and Chickadee's. Note, other species can fit in the hole too, first come, first serve. It comes with an attached Predator guard which extends the depth of the entrance hole making it more difficult for predators to get at the fledglings and eggs. The front door flips down for cleaning and peeking by loosening the 2 top screws on the sides. There is 1 screw on each side that needs to be loosened to flip the door down. It has slits cut into the inside of the door so the fledglings can climb up to the hole and get out. 2 screws are included to be used in the top and bottom pre-drilled mounting holes to mount it to a fence, tree, post etc. I only use galvanized nails and/or screws. The post it is attached to in the pictures, is used for display while taking the pictures, it is NOT included.
