Description: Set of TWO WIDE RANGE, vintage, Japanese variable capacitor, DUAL section with trimmers. LIMITED QUANTITY - can NOT be restocked. Nice quality, these capacitors have a very smooth, consistent, professional feel to their rotation, much better than ordinary polyvaricon capacitors. Packaging is marked "Ceramic Variable Capacitor", "Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd." Nominal range 10 - 200 pF each section, with trimmers set to minimum (trimmers add approximately 8pF at maximum setting). Wiring both sections in parallel gives you 400pF, a much bigger range than a standard transistor radio type tuning capacitor! Dimensions are 0.75" square, 0.38" height, excluding knob attachment post. Connections are made by screw terminals on front or back. Comes with 5 black oxide screws (4 mounting screws and knob screw), and plastic knob. Knobs are not actual tuning knobs, but are excellent replacements, and feature a rubber outer ring. The ring provides a very comfortable grip, and is superior to the serrated edges on many tuning knobs in our opinion. Knob may differ from photo and have two additional holes.
