Just Clean, Spray and Bake. It can be applied over bare metal, blued steel, anodized aluminum, parkerizing and plastics. Cerama-Coat provides a harder and more durable than your firearm's original finish along with waterproof protection. Read full instructions. Remove all rust, corrosion, or oxidation. Degrease components with solvent or detergent and hot water. Apply Cerama-Coat lightly and evenly. Allow to air dry for 30 minutes. Apply second or third coat as needed. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes for metal components. For plastic components bake for 200 degrees for 2 hours. BEFORE baking any plastic part, contact and consult with the manufacturer of the part to ensure that the part can withstand 200 degrees for 2 hours. NOTE: Baking some plastics at this temperature may cause permanent deformation.
