Description: This is a VTG Royal Ivory tea cup with a beautiful multicolor slip decorated design on the outside. Inside is the same pattern with sprays of flowers in pink, yellow, blue and white with green leaves. A blue border circles the inside of the cup with the flower design under urns. There is a delicate gold rim, gold on the footed bottom and handle. Royal Ivory was first manufactured in 1831 in Germany. The bottom of the cup bears the Royal Ivory KPM back stamp with the pattern name Chesly. This is a beautiful cup, perfect for morning coffee or tea. It is very elegant! This cup is 2 3/8 inches in height and 4 5/8 inches in width, including the handle. This Chesly cup is in very good condition. There are no chips, crazing, cracks or staining. Only minor wear of the gold trim which is barely noticeable and one spot where the manufacturing process did not completely apply a color.
