The box is very sturdy and durable and ready to use. I counted 195 card recipes and clippings, to include some cards typed, but most are handwritten. There are approximately 45 blank Recipe cards. Recipes, clippings and blank cards weigh 1 lb 8 oz. PLEASE look and ENLARGE all pictures for the condition of cards and recipe box. All recipe cards and clippings, best I could see were readable and usable. The box measurements are in item specifics and pictures will show tape measurements.
