Vtg. MCM Thomas Wall-Mount Medicine Cabinet with Light Fixtures, Original Globes

Description: Unique vintage 1950s-60s Thomas in-wall medicine cabinet featuring an ornate frame and the original white and gold glass globes. Comes with two adjustable glass shelves and ONE PAIR of metal shelf holders. (You can purchase adhesive-backed brackets from Amazon for about $5.) Measures 26" tall x 22 1/8" wide (at bottom), 28 5/8" at the widest part where light fixtures are located. The interior storage area measures approximately 13 1/4" wide and 18" tall. The unit is about 9" wide overall, but once it's in the wall, the light fixtures project out to only about 7". Weighs about 18 pounds with globes and glass shelves. This cabinet has a lightly distressed white/ivory finish and beautiful appliques on the top, bottom and corners. Some very minor wear and loss of paint. Please see photos. It has the original wiring, as shown in the photos. This may or may not need to be replaced. I'm not an electrician, so I can't make that judgment. The lights were working when the unit was removed. Note: Because of its weight and the extra packing material needed to protect the globes and mirror, this item will require a fairly large box. That means the shipping cost will be somewhat high. But I charge only for the actual shipping cost, not for handling, boxes, or packing material. I always seek out the least expensive shipping method and pass the savings along to the buyer. eBay's shipping system showed UPS Ground as the least expensive option. If I can find a less expensive method, I will use that instead. Please look closely at the photos, as this is a major part of the description. Because of its weight, returns will not be accepted on this item.
