Description: Lot of five barkcloth linen curtains with a great mid-century abstract pattern based on traditional barkcloth and woodblock prints. Colors are yellow, orange, brown, olive, and a more minty green. The last photo shows how these look with the light coming through - the more saturated colors really pop and glow with light. These appear to have been handmade, and there are some threads that were left untrimmed. There seem to be two different stitching styles, as if someone made them over time. Weights in bottom corners and pleats on top. Measurements may change by about 1/2 and inch between a couple curtains, but bottoms measure about 42” across, the tops about 25.5”, and the lengths about 60.5”. Panels are really in excellent condition, though one has a spot of white paint on lower left hand corner and one has a tiny area of wear on top right (see detail photos to get a sense). There is one curtain that appears a little faded in comparison with others - you can see this in the third-to-last photo where three curtains are piled on each other with the more faded one on top.
