Description: This vintage porcelain pedestal cake serving plate features a beautifully hand-painted floral and butterfly design. The round shape and multicolor scheme make it a versatile piece for both everyday use and special events. There are no chips or cracks. There is a small stain (burn mark) on the back as shown. A bit of the gold pin stripe line has faded from age and use and there is loss of the gold accents in spots. There is a section that appears to be gold streaks (may be factory flaws) see last photo. This unmarked piece adds a touch of sophistication to any kitchen or dining room with the lovely hand painted single butterfly in a gold frame with pretty purple bell-shaped flowers and a stalk of wild grass. It is 8 3/4" at the scalloped rim and 1 3/4" tall. The background is white with a turquoise band and gold details.
