Description: Eighteen Photo-Tone Miniature Views of the Winchester Mystery House near San Jose, California which includes one card glued to the outside of the mailer envelope. Each card contains a description of the room of the house in small white lettering No date, circa late 1950's The house belonged to Sarah Winchester who was the widow of William Winchester and the heiress to most of the Winchester Repeating Arms fortune. Sarah moved out West after the death of her husband and began remodeling an eight room farmhouse in 1886. Construction was finally finished in 1922 when she passed away with a total of 160 rooms, 24,000 square feet, 10,000 windows, 47 stairways and fireplaces, 6 kitchens, and more! The house was then opened to the public as an architectural wonder and an historic landmark. Mailer envelope measures 4 3/4" x 3 3/8". Cards measure 3 1/8" x 2" Good Condition!
