Description: Two cardboard cards that contain hard plastic unique design drinking straws, but called on the cards "Plastic Sippers", one card holding all original 6 Sippers and the other holding only 2 of the 6 straws. Unique patented design has a two pronged end that in my opinion serves absolutely no useful purpose and probably tells you why you have never seen these before. Undated, but based on the art work on the cards and the fact that they reference the sippers use in Soda Fountains, my guess is that these are from the 1950's. They cost 29 cents in the store and were made by Art Button Novelty Mfg. Co., New York (no zone code or zip code). Cards measure 10 1/4: x 4 3/4" and the Sippers are 9" long. The card with the 6 Sippers is in very good condition-no rips, tears or creases-I have no problems to point out. The other card has a minor tear on the punch hole top, left side---this second card helps you see the art work on the card and gives you 2 extra Sippers in case you lose one from the main card. Only one like it on ebay.
