Description: WATER TANK KEY BLANK FOR:VW Westfalia Camper Buses For APPROXIMATELY 1979 - 1992This WATER TANK LOCK key works as a replacement for keys with the part number 1092C or M17. If your keys have one of these part numbers on them, you have the right key. If not, compare the grooves of your key vs. the pictures closely as they must match exactly. I'm am not 100% sure on the time period of Westfalia Campers that used this style lock, but the approximate range is close to 1979 through 1992. These key blanks I currently are selling are made by Ilco. I have heard that in some cases, your locksmith may have to grind the tip down a little bit to make this blank work. As this is a blank, you will need to duplicate it to your current working key. It does not just work without first being CUT.
