The battery compartment cover is damaged with a cracked hinge on one side. It was taped shut with old tape which fell off when I looked inside. The compartment is ok and not corroded. I did not test as these rarely function correctly. I taped the cover back on so it does not get lost. The rest of the train is in excellent condition. Box is good with some damage from storage.
