Vintage Timex 1971 Marlin Manual Cleaned Oiled Regulated

Description: This vintage Timex Marlin wristwatch will be a nice addition for any Timex collector. With a mechanical (manual) movement, this watch runs well and keeps accurate time. The watch has had its internals cleaned (not serviced - i.e. not disassembled/reassembled/parts replaced) and oiled. This 54 year old watch has been regulated and keeps excellent time for a watch of this vintage. Between being worn for a couple of days and sitting on the bench, it didn't need any adjustment to time. I did wind it every 12 hours, however. The watch features a round champagne face that has some blemishes and the crystal has a very fine scratch toward the middle. This can be seen when zoomed in but is virtually invisible to the naked eye. The case still has a decent chrome finish and a clean snap caseback with a bit of wear around the back of the case's edges. The lug width is 18mm, and the band is a classic 17mm Speidel twist flex. This watch is a true vintage piece, manufactured in 1970 (printed on the inside snap back) for the 1971 model year. This Timex Marlin model is a classic and still fully functional. Any watch enthusiast would love to add this piece to their collection.
