Description: This old sterling silver State of Alaska Souvenir Spoon is crafted from high-quality sterling silver (.925), and reflects the timeless American Classic pattern. It was made after 1940 but prior to 1959 (Alaska became a State in 1959). The seal of the Territory of Alaska is the top of the handle and the word "Alaska" travels down the stem to the bowl (Photos #1 & #4) The spoon is 6 inches long and the bowl is a little under 1" across at its widest point. It is in excellent condition and not tarnished.
