Soviet poster artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1957). Born in 1928 in Penza. Graduated from the Penza Art School named after A.K. Savrasov (1948), Moscow State Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov (1954). Studied at the Faculty of Graphics under the guidance of professors N.A. Ponomarev and M.M. Cheremnykh. The latter stood at the origins of the Soviet poster and was the creator of "ROSTA Windows" together with V.V. Mayakovsky.
