Description: Vintage Original Prestone Antifreeze Metal Can W/ Pouring Spout - Great condition overall, with beautiful gray-blue patina on the metal and visible signs of the Prestone Antifreeze label on both sides. - Original wooden carry handle in bright red. - Metal pouring handle on the lower back of can. - Solid metal with no holes or rot. The can weighs about 4 pounds. - Can is about 18” inches tall and about 24” inches wide to the tip of the spout. - Opening hole at the top is about 5.5” inches in diameter. - See pics of this very nice service station antifreeze filler can from the 1940’s. This original vintage can, along with a couple of other original cans, was found in the attic of an old service station in dry Arizona. They have been used, but did not have exposure to damp humid climates. The dry Arizona weather preserved them very well for the past almost 80 years or more.
