Roman Guard spears like this were used by both the Masons and Odd Fellows. Each stamped brass spear tip is 7 3/8" long and when aligned back-to-back they fit a pole that is 9/16" in diameter. The condition is Excellent to Near Mint. Two halves would have been brazed or soldered together and mounted on a pole to make a Roman Guard spear. Please look at all the photos and ask any questions.
