Description: Vintage, mid century modern RCA Model Q21, AM/SW radio that is in good working condition. Radio is able to receive stations on the AM band quite readily with minimal background noise. Best reception is when fingers are placed on the wire antenna, so I believe if the antenna is extended, it should play just as well. The chassis is very clean with no evidence of rust or corrosion. The power cord is in excellent condition. The blonde finish on the radiois all original and has simply been cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax and showing considerable wear. There are also two sections where there is some veneer damage - cracking and an emerging chip - see photos for further details. All of the knobs turn smoothly and properly and the dial indicator moves properly as well. The grill cloth has no rips or holes, but is badly discolored and faded. Despite the imperfections, the radio will be a fine addition to your collection or can be used for a restoration project. In order to ensure safe delivery, the radio will be double boxed.
