Description: Here we have a vintage reproduction "Mason's Patent Nov. 30th 1858" reverse Heros Cross half gallon size fruit canning jar with replacement lid...the emerald green glass jar is in very good condition with a smooth top rim...it has lots of air bubbles throughout and also has very nice strong embossing...the bottom is slightly concave...the rusty lid does not actually screw on or fit the jar (slightly too big)...it is merely for display to keep the dust out and it looks nice...the jar displays well and approx. measures 9" tall (9 1/2 with the lid)...a great addition to your collection...we will be selling several more vintage / antique Mason jars so check out our store for more listings...this listing is for the one reproduction 1858 green Hero Cross Mason jar...
