Salad or dessert plate ( 6 3/4” diameter) These dishes were produced by Mercer Pottery of Trenton, New Jersey some time before 1930. The company was in business from 1868-1930. They are part of a lot of dishes from a Masonic Lodge that was still operating until about 5 years ago. The dishes are vitrified china and are sturdy but they are also antique. They have been cleaned using the recommended technique of soaking in hydrogen peroxide and baking in a low oven to draw out stains. They look very good but they are not perfect. There is general fine crazing on all the dishes and I have done my best to show that in the photos. Please examine the photos carefully. I have multiples of this piece and others listed separately. Please message me with questions. If you are looking for more pieces, contact me and I will make you an offer through Ebay or let you know when more will be listed.
