Description: This listing is for a Vintage Hand Thrown Stoneware Mug Made by Louisville Stoneware, Louisville Kentucky. It features a painted Snowman Couple, building a Snowball Fort on one side with Flakes of Snow falling all around. The snow flakes are in relief, giving the surface a slightly rough feel. Blue trim around the rim, base and down the handle., It has a nice large 3 finger “D” shaped handle. It measures 4” tall”, 3 1/4” OD top, slightly tapered sides and a 3” dry foot base. The bottom is stamped “Louisville Stoneware, Made in Kentucky, Happy Holidays 1998” . Also engraved on the bottom “Made in USA” . The glossy finish inside and out is a light gray.
