Description: This pair of vintage hand-carved wooden figurines (featuring a sleeping senor and senora each with a sombrero) was purchased in Mexico in 1960. The sombrero on each figurine is hinged and will lift as shown in the photograph. The figurines make wonderful bookends with a touch of Mexican folklore. Each figurine from the base measures 6.75 inches tall, 5.25 inches wide, and 5.25 inches deep. Excluding the base, each figurine measures 5.75 inches tall, 2.0 inches wide, and 3.75 inches deep. Each figurine weights about 15 oz. Each figurine is in excellent condition with some blemishes noted from aging.
