Vintage Grammes enameled brass & wood bookends, Asian style birds black/gold/red

Description: ITEM: A pair of enameled brass over wood half-circle bookends by Grammes, 1950s, featuring red birds with gold-colored mountain and pine tree limbs on a black background in Japanese style. Gold-colored wood aprons. Felt-lined bottoms. Nice and heavy. About 5-1/4" tall x 5" wide. CONDITION: Generally good vintage condition, with scratches and wear on the enamel. Corners of metal are folded over a bit. Discolorations on the wood on the back of one. See photos for all details.
