Description: Fiestaware Item: Vintage Forest Green Medium Teapot Age: Produced from 1951-1959. The medium teapot was offered in all 11 Vintage Fiestaware colors and predates the forest green glaze which is referred to as one of the “50’s Colors” along with Chartreuse, Rose, & Grey. Dimensions: Measures 5 1/8" from base to top of finial knob x 8 1/2" wide from tip of spout to back of C handle. Condition: There is a small chip on the foot of the base and one tiny flea bit to the tip of the spout. There is a “glaze pop” between the spout and the opening. Lid is in excellent condition with no nicks, cracks, chips or repairs. With Vintage Fiestaware there may be slight variations in glaze, sand bumps which are glazed over “specks” during production or even “glaze pops” which happen when the pottery is fired, and an air bubble reaches the surface and bursts. These are not damage but manufacturing flaws that are not uncommon with Vintage Fiestaware. Some of these may be evident upon close inspection. If any are very noticeable, they will be mentioned. I’m a long time VINTAGE Fiestaware collector and will be offering other VINTAGE Fiestaware items for sale. Don’t confuse VINTAGE with Post 86 Fiestaware which is commonly misrepresented as Vintage. ALL ITEMS ARE GUARANTEED VINTAGE.
