Description: Demitasse size china cup and saucer circa 1940's both marked with the Crown W Heinrich Winterling Porcelain Factory mark. The factory was in business in Marktleuthen, Bavaria, Germany, from 1903 until 2010. It made dinnerware, coffee and tea sets, and giftware. The mark on these pieces was used starting in about 1934. The saucer is 4.25" across and the cup is 2" high x 2.75" across the top. Gold accent rims and trim. Threeunique color flowers on each piece (blue, purple, and pink). Burnt orange designs as well as flowers are on awhite background. Both pieces are also marked Bavaria US Zone Germany. The saucer holds 2.5 fluid ounces.In good pre-owned condition with no chips or cracks. There is some roughness on the porcelain on the bottom of the foot of the cup.
