DESCRIPTION & CONDITION Up for auction is a lovely cold painted solid cast metal figurine of what appears to be a black and white spotted Airedale terrier dog. This small, heavy solid metal dog figurine appears to be either lead, pewter or cast iron. It is unmarked, therefore maker and where it was made is unknown but quality resembles German makers 1940s-'50s.It is in overall very good to near excellent condition. That said, it does have small areas of paint chipping, mostly on the head, but because of its location ( black areas) it is not as noticeable as in the white areas. As is, this item is still a very nice little vintage and RARE item for any collector of vintage cold painted animals (Dogs) figurines, Terriers or specifically Airedales terrier figurines .Please look over photos carefully as they are part of description and ask questions before bidding. !!
