Description: Vintage California USA Pottery Olive Green Chicken/Hen On A Nest Soup Tureen C-40. This piece being 60 years old is in like new condition without chips or cracks and comes complete with ladle and warming stand which is very rare. I’d be willing to bet you’ll never see this with all the pieces again and I mean never. They are just about always either missing the warming stand or the ladle or both or chipped or has surface cracks. So all the pieces, in this condition you’ll never see again. Check all pictures as part of description. The bowl measures approx. 11-1/2” from handle to handle by 8”wide opening by approx. 4-1/2” high. With the lid on it’s approx 11” tall, on the warming stand it approx 14” tall. I’m sorry for the high shipping but this tureen is 60 years old and flawless but yet it is fragile. I’d like to keep it flawless during shipping. I’m thinking each piece bubble wrapped and boxed & peanuts and individual boxes within a bigger box to make sure it’s not dust when it arrives to your doorstep. It would be a shame for it to make it this long and get destroyed during shipping.
