Description: A unique double teabag holder teapot. Deep rich chocolate brown with a finish glaze. Standard size teapot with water capacity less than the standard pot due to the double sided tea bag /strainer holder. The teapot appears to be a mid-20th century American or English ceramic teapot, often referred to as a “Brown Betty” teapot due to its traditional brown glaze. The compartments on the sides may not be for tea bags but could be designed for holding the tea infuser or strainer, making it easier to brew loose-leaf tea directly in the pot. In good condition without any chips or cracks. There is not any crazing. Lovely addition to any collector. Please see photos for condition and description.
