Description: Selling this very rare Bijan BRASS wall sculpture/artwork. It is signed Bijan and dated 1985. It features a very fluid brass wave with ceramic or porcelain dolphins attached at the crests. This piece originally had five dolphins, unfortunately, one of the dolphins has been unaccounted for and there are only four remaining. The Dolphins are interchangeable as they pop on and off and you can decide which dolphin you want on which crest. The Dolphins are approximately 13 inches in length. There are two spots to point out on the dolphins. One of the Dolphins has a chip on its fluke, see photo. Another dolphin has a minor chip in the glaze, see photo. There are a few scratches/scuffs on the brass wave, see photos. The overall length of the brass wave without dolphins attached is 44 inches long! The overall height of the brass wave without the dolphins attached is 11 inches inches tall and the depth without the dolphins attached is approximately 4 inches tall. This item will most likely ship in two separate boxes. The brass wave unscrews and comes apart into two parts. It will ship as such. The Dolphins will also ship unattached.
