Description: Vintage Barbie SOPHISTICATED LADY #993 (1963-1964) COMPLETE, NEAR MINT JAPAN Barbie's vintage SOPHISTICATED LADY #993 (1963-1964). This set is COMPLETE and is in GORGEOUS near mint condition! I can see no flaws! Included are Barbie’s tagged pink silk dress with silver filigree lace trim and wide velvet coat with stand-up collar. Accessories include the graduated pearl necklace (clasp is tarnished), earrings, long white tricot gloves, pink open-toe shoes (marked Japan--no splits) and the hard-to-find clear plastic tiara molded in silver glitter. This set is fairly clean with no tears, holes, a couple light stains as pictured and the gloves are a bit yellowed. The velvet overcoat dress is in excellent condition with a small worn spot in the velvet at the very bottom back, also as pictured. All silver buttons and snaps intact, only 1 button loop on the velvet coat. This set is VINTAGE--NOT a reproduction. Smoke free home.
