Description: untitled Vintage Aquatic Life Art Pottery Coffee Mug Hand-Made Ocean Fish Tropical Marine This is a very cool, completely hand-made large art pottery coffee mug featuring an under-sea world of fish, seaweed, sea horses and starfish all impressed onto the surface of the clay. This piece is signed on the base with the name Beverly. I haven't been able to find any information on this artist, but what I love about this mug is the method that was used to make it. This is not a thrown cup. It was rolled, impressed with the art, and then grafted together, all by hand. This gives it a really classic "hand-made" look. Even the interior glaze is a beautiful azure blue that looks like crystal blue tropical water. This mug stands just under 5 inches in height and over 3.5 inches in diameter from outside edge to outside edge. This mug holds well over 16 ounces of liquid(probably more like 20 oz).
