Vintage 1984-1993 MLB Hall-of-Famer Lot of (42) Topps baseball cards; Fair-NM

Description: .......The highest bidder in this auction will receive a nice assortment of (42 different) 1984-1993 Topps major league baseball cards portraying at least (21) different Cooperstown Hall-of-Fame inductees - 18 players and 3 managers. ...Most of these cards were printed late in, or subsequent to, the players' careers. Some of the older ones are in 'less than perfect' condition. About half are 'special' cards - All-Star, Record Breaker, Team or League Leaders (Wins, ERA, HRs, RBIs, BA, etc.), or 'Turn Back The Clock' cards - while the rest are 'regular' cards (all are from the regular season set - no oddball, traded, updates, etc.). .......As a group, these items are all in FAIR or better condition (with 25 or 30 rated at least VG or EX/NM). You'll find the photos on a few to be a bit off-centered though, maybe a wrinkle on the obverse, a rough edge, a defective corner or two, etc., and even a bubble-gum stain, but most are very nice on the back (Exc or better, while only a little off-centered ). What a nice collectible assortment that can only appreciate in value as time passes!! ........The manager cards will likely be '93T Sparky Anderson; '91, '92, and '93 Tommy Lasorda; and '87 Dick Williams. The newest managerial inductees - Bobby Cox, Tony LaRussa, and Joe Torre were inducted in '14, so we may include one or more of their cards too. .........Player cards will include at least one each of Boggs, Carlton, Carter, Dawson, Fisk, Gossage, Jackson, Molitor, Murray, Palmer, Perez, Rice, Ryan, Sandberg, Schmidt, Seaver, Smith, and Winfield, but will also include cards for as many as ten or fifteen additional players (possibly including newcomers like Maddux, Thomas, Glavine, Biggio, R Johnson, Smoltz).
