Description: Vintage Correct Parts is proud to offer, for your consideration, A fantastic and original Vintage 1972 - 1973 Fender "3-bolt" Stratocaster Neck This is a super vibey vintage Fender project neck. We are in love with the incredible amount of natural relic-ing this neck has undergone in it's 50+ years of service. The most obvious point of note here is the previous installation of a locking nut device behind the original nut. This has been removed, but the four holes remain, the "Kahler-ization" of this neck, which likely happened in the 80's when locking trems were all the rage. This neck has numerous marks including the outline of an old decal on the end of the headstock face, various cigarette burns in the clear coat and an incredible amber tint from years of wear. The frets show significant wear and this neck would greatly benefit from a full re-fret. Amazingly, this neck never had any non-original tuners installed. The tuner hole openings and screw holes are factory original with no modification. The nut is original. The decal and finish are fully original with no over spray or refinish! The two original string trees remain. The inspection stamps (J. Torres) remain as does the neck-date stamp which has faded slightly. Very cool way to get into some vintage Fender tonewoods and start a nice project! Thanks for looking! WE SHIP WORLDWIDE !!
