Description: Victorian Coromandel Wood & Brass Domed Gothic Box - Stationery/JewelleryThe internal part of this box has been stripped, possibly a stationery box or tea caddy but could be made into a very nice jewellery box.I have included a number of photos and these probably describe the item better than I can and form part of the description. Condition: Usable and structurally sound but in need of a little TLC, some small losses of veneer to the outside and the odd small dent. Two of the pins fixing the brass look to be silver coloured larger replacement pins. Small knocks and dents commensurate with age and use. There is no key and the lock is untested. Internally stripped and left in a rough state, there is a piece veneer which is loose near the hinge. The hinges look to be later replacements that cause the back to sit a little proud at the back. No lining to the base.Size: 24cm by 12.6cm by 17.5cm high, internally 21.1cm by 10cm by 9.4cm deep. 817grams. Please feel free to ask any questions but please please ask through Ebay.
