Description: Up for sale is a limited edition toby jug entitled "The Toby Jug Collector". It features Vic Schuler, the expert on British toby jugs. He is dressed in a yellow coat and is holding a toby jug in one hand and his well known toby jug collector book in the other. The handle features a green gargoyle type character. It was made by Kevin Francis Ceramics Limited. It is numbered 946 of 1000. It was modelled by Peggy Davies. A thousand copies were made between February 1988 and February 1989 with 650 in blue coats and 350 in yellow coats. It stands 8 3/4 inches tall. The base measures 4 1/4 inches wide. This hard to find collectible is in very good used condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There is a small patch that is rough to the touch on the front brim of the hat.
