Exotica, teen-beat and international nonsense from all over the world -- Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Columbia, France, etc. "The T.I.V.S idea begins one evening in 1961 when Laslo (Dutch and chemistry student) and Gersido (Italian and artist in general), meet for the first time in a party held by the London Medical School. They happen to meet right in front of the pick-up, and over there they share musical opinions and some homemade amphetamines. They end up being arrested for scandalous behavior and it is behind bars where they decide to create an association for lovers of music and cheap thrills. Over the following months, them and half a dozen of boys and girls get together to organize their first parties in the refrigerator of an abandoned butchery. One year after, when Laslo is sacked from University for using the lab to manufacture amphetamines and other strange drugs made from his own formulas, he decides to move to Paris to have a shot at being famous. Gersido joins him one year after and they form The International Vice Society, with headquarters located in a room of the Grand Hotel at the 'Place de la Contrescarpe.' They paint a sheet with the acronym of the Society, suggested by the beautiful Amber (third member of the club) and they hang it on one of the windows of the hotel façade for the three following years.... When packaging up factory sealed records for shipment, we leave the item sealed, intact, as is. HOWEVER. If a customer REQUESTS that we unseal a factory sealed record to send with the LP and inner sleeve on the outside of the cover (to protect the cover from any potential seam-splitting during transit) we will do so. Please be sure to make this request of unsealing your record for shipment if that is your packaging preference. When packaging up non-factory sealed items (or factory sealed items that have been unsealed at the buyer's request) that have custom company or other manner of printed inner-sleeves, we remove the record from those printed inner sleeves (returning the printed inner sleeves back into the album cover) and place them inside brand new, generic white paper inner sleeves, which are then placed on the outside of the album cover to protect both the album cover AND the original printed inner sleeves from being subjected to any potential seam splitting during transit. We do this for all new AND used items that are in our stock. All LPs, be they new or used, are sheathed inside of new, protective plastic outer sleeves (with the exceptions of space or weight limitations that may occur with packaging your items - such exceptions will take place when they allow for a lower cost of shipping charged for your total order.)
