In this drawing, the boat is depicted as she appeared in 1983. One hundred ten 44 footers were built, with the last one being completed in 1972. These boats were the first to be designed to be self righting, with water-tight compartments for and aft of the steering station. They were replaced by the 47 Ft Motor Life Boats. This particular boat performed a life-saving rescue in the Manasquan Inlet in 1983. Each print has its own unique number.
