I confirm this item is an authentic factory-sealed item, never opened, with one side being ‘double-taped factory-sealed’ on Right side of box (see close-up pictures of tape seals). I’ve been collecting Takara/Takaratomy Transformers for 20 years, and have seen countless G1 reissues & Masterpiece, and other modern releases, with factory double-taped seals (or triple-taped) on a side of the box. Such releases were opened and re-sealed in-factory, for QC (quality control) check or any other production, such as adding promotional insert(s), before they are released for sale on the market, factory tape-sealed. More details: The key to see that your item is double-taped sealed by the factory, is by looking very closely at the tape. The tape used to do the second seal over the first seal which was cut open in factory, is exactly the same tape used. It has been cut using the same method, and the easiest sign to spot is that factory-applied tape seals do not have tiny air bubbles trapped under tape on whole area, which is very hard to recreate with commercially available cellophane tape, which is never the width of the official Takara factory tape, as well.
