Description: Transformers Armada 2002-03 Collection 100% Complete MISB +BONUS. Items are as pictured. This is the complete collection of the Transformers Hasbro USA Mainline Armada Series, the first in the vaunted Unicron Trilogy. It was stored in RubberMaid bins in a dark, dry area for approximately 20 years, recently excavated, and on sale in toto. Set includes variants and rarities(particularly both Super-Con "Bendy" Primes, one with Autobot Symbol and one without, and the sought-after Beast Wars Transmetal retools.). The Minicon Play System involves universal Minicon compatibility with all figures in the line. Minicons are employed to various capacities to unlock Power-Up features on, or serve as weapons for, larger figures. The Minicons were discovered as a third race of Transfomers within the show canon, and hunted down and "captured" by both Autobots and Decepticons, in a sort of Pokemon-style arms race. Despite the brick-ish(lack of articulation) nature of most figures in this line, the figures, in general, are much larger than present day TFs, made with more durable/higher quality plastic, and are made for repeated play. They also make for a numinous display as a line, and are a salient piece of TF history.
