Description: THE WIZARD OF OZ, Brochure Style Herald (Advertising Flyer), Tour, Boston Opera House, Boston, MA, 2018. The stage musical was based on the 1939 MGM film. The front features artwork, performance dates and theatre credit. The back contains a production photo, critic's quote and background on the show. The photo features cast members Chris Duir, Kalie Kaimann, Victor Legarreta and Christopher Russell. Music by Harold Arlen, lyrics by E.Y. Harburg and book by Winnie Holzman and based on the novel by L. Frank Baum. Directed by Dean Sobon and choreographed by Amy Marie McCleary. This is NOT a reproduction!! Heralds are advertising flyers that are placed at theatres and sometimes included in Playbills and programs. Sizes vary but most of the older ones are 6 x 9 1/2 inches. Brochure style heralds can be one sheet or multi folds and measure about 3 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches. Condition is near excellent with minor wear. International purchases are subject to a $2.00 handling fee. CONDITION: I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality: Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor. Good means just that: desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade. Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders. Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear. All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition. IMAGES: I use a digital camera so the entire piece is visible.
