Description: This Iwachu Japanese cast iron tea set includes a tea pot, a trivet, and 2 tea cups and saucers. The set features a two-toned textured pattern in black and bronze finish. The inner peon of the tea pot and cups have an enamel porcelain coating. The teapot has a 20 ounce capacity a classic raised plum blossom pattern and a brown wash over top. The teapot includes a fitted fine mesh tea strainer basket. It is marked with the Iwachu mark and "MADE IN JAPAN" on the bottom. The strainer shows signs of use but is in excellent condition. The trivet is an Iwachu dragon nabeshiki which is 5.5" in diameter and .5" high. Both sets of tea cups and saucers are cast iron with an enamel porcelain coating and have a raised dragon pattern with a brown wash over the top. The cups and saucers are made by Teavana. The cups are 2" tall and the saucers are 5" long. See pictures for details.
