Description: I believe this is a sample or prototype Sanei Fire Mario plush from the Super Mario set. I got this plush from a collector from China who also had all the Sanei Mario samples with tags that confirm their legitimacy, which I have listed too, so I believe it could be one as well. The plush very much feels like a Sanei plush, and it shares a lot similarities to the Sanei Galaxy and Mario Party 5 plush in particular. In addition, some aspects of the plush such as the beans in its bottom and the high quality fabric used for the face and clothes are not reminiscent of a bootleg. This plush has many differences compared to the released plush. For starters, the clothes and hat are a completely different fabric and are much closer to the Mario Party 5 Mario and Luigi plush (hence the comparison image). In addition, the shoes are a lighter brown, and the M emblem on the hat is different; these two differences are in line with the Sanei Super Mario Galaxy plush. The proportions are also very different and more like the Mario Party 5 plush, as the arms and hands are much smaller and the legs are very stubby. Like the Sanei plush, this plush also has beans in it at its bottom. This plush does not have a tush-tag unfortunately, and it seems that it never did. However, the plush is in very good condition.
