(and, since this copy has WHITE pages, no CGC 9.6 can have a higher combination of Grade plus page color, meaning thatthis copy is TIED for 17th BEST COPY in CGC's CENSUS!!!) See below for complete information on the condition of the beautifully-preserved CGC-graded classic issue Long term storage in a Mylar bag with an acid-free boarduntil submission to CGC in April of 2023! This issue was bagged and boarded since purchase and (since 1990, when I learned about the superior results attainable with archival storage products and moved my entire collection into those products) it was preserved in a thick archival Mylar bag with a heavy-weight acid-free board, and stored in my smoke-free, pet-free, climate-controlled home. It was removed from its Mylar bag for the first time to be graded by CGC!! I submitted it to CGC to be graded and sealed and it was returned, with a 9.6 Grade in June of 2023. This copy, both before and after processing by CGC, NEVER has spent a single day in an attic, basement or storage unit, (and it NEVER will as long as I own it!) Since I received it from CGC it has been stored in, and it will be shipped to its new owner in, its CGC-issued protective polybag.Thanks to careful handling, and long-term storage in Mylar, and despite turning 5 DECADES old at the beginning of 2024, this issue STILL looks BEAUTIFUL, especially in its CGC case with its 9.6 grade on a Universal Label showing that it still has WHITE pages!!
