After her husband died she met St. Frances de Sales. Under his guidance she founded her order, chiefly for widows and those of delicate health. This ceramic wall plaque is in very good condition with no signs of cracks or chips. Please see all pictures for a better description of the condition of this item. These ceramic plaques originated from Saint Andrew's Abbey monastery, which was established in 1955 and is located in valyermo california. These plaques are all hand crafted and painted and kiln fired twice to give an almost porcelain quality. Each plaque is a beautiful depiction inspired by God's holy word.
