Description: SPICY ADVENTURE STORIES December 1939. Vol 11 No 2. This is the Wildside Press FACSIMILE REPRINT, #12 in the Wildside Pulp Classics series, published in 2005. Fans at the time called these "the hots." They were often sold under the counter. Most of the bylines are pseudonyms, though there is a story by ROBERT LESLIE BELLEM, who seemingly reveled in this sort of thing, and one by LEW MERRILL, who was the same writer who also wrote as "Victor Rousseau" on his more respectable works. Not as naughty today as such magazines seemed at the time. Still great fun in a trashy sort of way. The reproduction quality is very good. Facsimile reprint of a very rare, hyper-specialized pulp. You could be certain that an actual original of this issue would cost many hundreds of dollars. Always happy to combine shipping on multiple orders. Note that the foreign postage prices are a guess. If they prove too high I will refund the difference.
