The inserts are made of high density, UV resistant Delrin and tapered for greater reliability than the rubber hose style inserts or straight-through inserts. We also cut pressure release channels in the side of the insert to avoid hydraulic lock. The insert is then professionally attached to the body with 300 pound mono and nickel crimps.The sharp 37.5 degree taper on the end of the barrel is designed to make angled shots more reliable.
