The bands second CD is one weighty slab of sonic doom that crushes your temple and your church temples. Heavy as hell, the band grind through eight songs each named after a day of the week culminating in track eight ‘Doomsday’. Equal parts sludge, stoner, traditional European doom (and of course Sabbath) these guys crush. Tormented vocals, droning on and on weighty riffs combined with dark and despondent lyrics make for a quite intense listening experience. What would a doom CD be without the obligatory guest appearance of Wino?Nice packaging and production from a label I’m not familiar with cap off a real treat. The band has called it quits and I predict as the label bio says “they become Kult” Ha! ha!Kult or not, they deserve to be heard and congratulated for a top notch doom disc.
