Description: This is a lot of TWO bread and butter plates by Wood & Sons in the discontinued "Balmoral" pattern. These plates are octagonal in shape and feature a deep cobalt blue and tan design around the rim with gold accents and gold edge trim. Each plate measures about 5-3/4" in diameter. On the back is the "Woods Ware" mark by Wood & Sons England and the Balmoral pattern name. These plates are in very nice vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks but there is some rub wear to the gold trim around the edge of the plates. One of the plates has a couple of pinprick blemishes under the glaze that occurred during manufacture. Overall, these plates are in very good condition and would make great replacement pieces or additions to your collection! These plates will be carefully packed for shipping.
